House rules

The 18-point task checklist: Every visit follows an explicit room checklist: limescale descaling, high-reach cobwebbing, interior window pane cleaning, and floor damp-mopping with pH-neutral plant solutions. We check off each item before locking up.
Consistent named personnel: We do not rotate unfamiliar workers through your home. You are assigned one primary cleaner, with one named backup who visits with them during induction so your space is never handled by strangers.
Hypoallergenic & pet safe: Our solutions contain no synthetic fragrances, ammonia, or harsh chlorine bleaches. Formulations are completely safe for households with cats, dogs, or residents with reactive airways.

How we set up your cleaning

Space & task consultation You tell us room counts, floor finishes, and priority tasks via our booking form.
Initial walk-through Martha visits your home or studio for 15 minutes to note delicate finishes, pet habits, and access keys.
First reset clean We complete an initial deep clean to establish a spotless baseline before regular visits begin.
Regular scheduled upkeep Your designated cleaner arrives on the agreed weekday with clean kit and completes the task list.

Do I need to be at home during the clean?

Most clients are out during their clean. We hold keys in a secure, unlabelled lockbox system or use your external keysafe code provided on the morning.

What cleaning products do you bring?

We bring commercial HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaners, colour-coded microfiber cloths washed at 60°C, and refillable plant-derived cleansers from independent UK producers.

What happens if my scheduled cleaner is unwell?

Your assigned backup cleaner—who has already attended an induction in your home with Martha—steps in so your scheduled slot is maintained without interruption or re-explaining house rules.

Can you clean spaces with dogs or cats?

Yes, all our team members are comfortable around pets. We ask only that nervous dogs have a quiet designated room while the vacuum is running.
