Marcus and Tariq run two chairs on Walcot Street. Chair 1 is by appointment; chair 2 takes walk-ins every morning until 11:30. Pay in the chair, cash or card.

Prices include a wash on request. No upselling of products during your cut.

We don't double-book
If you're booked for 14:00 you're in the chair by 14:05. Arrive five minutes early; after ten minutes late the slot goes to the walk-in queue.

Our counter acrylic NFC/QR stand routes straight to go.northgate.example.com/book so you can lock in your next four-week slot before you step out.
Quiet chair
Say "quiet chair" when you sit down and we'll leave you to your book, headphones, or a nap. No offence taken.
What we use
Water-based pomades, alcohol-free witch-hazel tonic and boar-bristle brushes. Ask if you have a sensitive scalp.

How long is the walk-in wait?
Usually one or two ahead of you before 10:00. After 11:30 chair 2 switches to bookings.
Can I bring a photo of a cut I want?
Please do. Tell us when you book which cut it's closest to so we leave the right amount of time.
Do you cut curly and afro-textured hair?
Yes, both chairs. Book the 40-minute slot if you'd like a shape-up with your cut.
