Hand-pulled linocut editions, coastal field drawings, and site-specific commissions from an independent Dundee print studio.

House rules
- Free of third-party advertising and feed-ranking
- This catalogue is published as an owned studio record rather than a social feed. There is no third-party advertising, no algorithmic feed-ranking, and no follower counts or engagement tallies standing between the work and the viewer.
- Portable archive & owned domain
- Every edition entry, biography note, exhibition history, and high-resolution plate photograph is stored as clean structured data that remains fully exportable and portable to the artist's own domain at any time.
- Owned contact paths & quarterly broadsheet
- New print releases and exhibition dates are announced through a direct email dispatch sent four times a year and by post for collectors who prefer a printed card—never gated behind a third-party social login.
- Edition states & archival materials
- Once an edition is sold out, the key linoleum block is defaced with a single corner cut and a cancellation proof is pulled for the studio archive so edition numbers remain fixed.
How commissions & studio acquisitions work
- Direct enquiry or studio visit Write directly via the owned studio email or visit Meadow Mill during First-Saturday open studio hours to inspect unframed proofs in person.
- Pencil study & block proof (for commissions) For commissioned work, Maren prepares two tonal ink-and-graphite composition drawings and a test proof on rag paper before cutting the final edition block.
- Hand-printing & drying Approved blocks are printed in small batches on the Albion press and racked to air-dry for ten days so the oil-based ink cures evenly into the cotton fibres.
- Flat archival dispatch Finished prints are signed, interleaved with acid-free tissue, and shipped flat between twin-wall conservation boards or collected from the studio.

Asked at the counter
Why doesn't this page show social media feeds or follower counts?
Printmaking moves at the pace of drying oil ink, not daily timeline algorithms. This page is intentionally free of third-party advertising, algorithmic feed-ranking, and follower counts so you can view the work in full resolution and contact the studio directly.
Is the artist's catalogue portable if the studio changes web hosts?
Yes. All text, edition records, release notes, and photography remain exportable in open JSON and HTML formats and portable to the artist's own domain without platform lock-in.
Can I commission a custom print or book-plate edition?
Yes. Maren accepts three to four private or architectural commissions each season. Use the enquiry form below to outline the subject, dimensions, and target date.
Do you ship prints framed or unframed?
Works shipped by courier are sent unframed in flat archival conservation folders to avoid glass breakage in transit. Framed works in Scottish elm can be collected directly from the Dundee studio.
